Great Reference

This is a great reference book. Lots of good information. I had wished that the answers had only been on the sides or in footnotes or the back of the book. I like the explanation with the answers just not in the exercises. I picked this book so that I would have all the answers as I used this to teach myself. But the notations in the questions interferes with working through the problems on my own the first time. This is written as a traditional teachers edition text. Wished they had written it so that it could be used as both a student version and a teachers. Or included the answers in a separate book. Be cautious of this if you are using this the same way I was I am looking for a used version without answers or stuck writing out the questions ahead of time so not to be influenced by the notations.

I've bought this book as an additional resource for explanation and training in ICD-10-CM. I like this author and that it has answers, as well as multiple exercises. The edition did not matter to me that much because official guidelines can be accessed with CMS, and the codes will be revised in future anyway. I think it's a good resource for practicing.

As always, a great coding handbook

This is a great handbook for Dr's offices and medical billing and coding practices. It's also a great book for teaching medical coding classes. As always, this volume is an excellent edition.
